Solar Resources, Inc. (“SRI,” “we,” or “us”) and its affiliates strongly recognize, value, and respect your data privacy. SRI commits to adopt all standards and regulations prescribed by Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other applicable laws and issuances (collectively, “Privacy Laws”). 

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND DATA SUBJECT 

Personal Information refers to any information, whether recorded in a material form or not, from which the identity of an individual is apparent or can be reasonably and directly ascertained by the entity holding the information, or when put together with other information would directly and certainly identify an individual. (Sec. 3(g), Republic Act No. 10173) 

Data Subject refers to an individual whose personal information is processed. (Sec. 3(c), Republic Act No. 10173) 

COLLECTION 

Collection of specific Personal Information enables us to express and communicate our projects and services in the most informative, engaging, and efficient manner. Likewise, we may develop and enhance our products and services while taking into consideration your personal preferences by getting a deeper grasp of your needs, choices, and interests. 

Specifically, we ask for your Personal Information to give you the specific details you need about our projects whether as a buyer, seller, lessor, or lessee. 

Personal Information we collect from you may include but not limited to the following: 

Name, age, sex, civil status, date and place of birth, nationality and/or citizenship, address (current, temporary, and permanent), and contact details 

Employment or business information (source of income or funds) 

Financial position 

Government issued identification numbers [e.g., Passport, Tax Identification Number (TIN), Social Security System (SSS) or Government Service Insurance System GSIS) Numbers] 

Other additional information that will be required in relation to the purposes of collection declared herein 

If you provide us with Personal Information belonging to other people, you hereby represent that you have the authority to do so and have secured consent to permit us to use such information in accordance with this Data Privacy Policy and applicable Privacy Laws. 

CONSENT 

Prior express consent of the Data Subject is vital in collection of Personal Information. This consent may be obtained through letters, emails, or other correspondences you may provide to us through electronic or non-electronic platforms. 

STORAGE, RETENTION, & DESTRUCTION 

SRI ensures that all Personal Information under its custody are protected against any accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, and disclosure as well as against any other unlawful processing. We will implement appropriate security measures in storing collected Personal Information, depending on the nature of the information. 

We will retain all collected Personal Information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes for which such information was obtained, or for legitimate business purposes, or as provided by law. All information gathered shall not be retained for a period longer than one (1) year, unless a different 

mandatory or lawful record-keeping period applies so as not to defeat the purpose for which such information was obtained. After such period of retention, all hard and soft copies of Personal Information shall be disposed and destroyed through secured means. 

SECURITY MEASURES 

A Data Protection Officer (DPO) shall be appointed by SRI. The DPO shall oversee SRI’s compliance with the Privacy Laws, including the conduct of Privacy Impact Assessment, implementation of security measures, security incident and data breach protocol, and the inquiry and complaints procedure. 

All SRI employees with authorized access to all Personal Information lawfully received by SRI shall maintain the confidentiality and secrecy of all Personal Information that come to their knowledge and possession, even after resignation, termination of contract, or other contractual relations. Personal Information under SRI’s custody shall be disclosed only pursuant to a lawful purpose, and to authorized recipients of such information. 

This Policy shall be reviewed and evaluated annually. Privacy and security policies and practices within the organization shall be updated to remain consistent with current data privacy best practices. 

DATA PRIVACY RIGHTS 

Under the Privacy Laws, you, as the Data Subject, have the right to: 

Be informed whether your Personal Information shall be, are being, or have been processed 

Object to the processing of your Personal Information 

Reasonably access your Personal Information 

Dispute any inaccuracy or error in your Personal Information, and have us correct the same immediately and accordingly 

Suspend, withdraw, or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of your Personal Information from our records, based on reasonable grounds 

Be compensated for any damage sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete outdated, false, unlawfully obtained or unauthorized use of personal data, taking into account any violation of your rights and freedoms. 

File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) for any violation of your data privacy rights
